Janina Lukas is leading the Ethics & Social Impact agenda for the Bayer Group, including Bayer's Human Rights Strategy, firmly rooted in the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) as well as Bayer's Mission "Health for all, Hunger for None." She was contributing to the development of the Chemie³-Industry Standard for Chemical and Pharmaceutical industry capturing the UNGPs and German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act obligations. During her time at Bayer, she assumed various responsibilities within Bayer’s Sustainability in Procurement department, and additionally was engaged in the supplier training workstream of the industry initiative “Together for Sustainability”. Before joining Bayer, she has been working in several NGOs, latest “Engineers Without Borders” focusing on water projects in Tanzania. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Logistics & Technical Business Administration.
