Gareth Penny is Chairman of Ninety-One Plc., a global business with over$140 billion of assets under management, providing investment products andservices across both developed and emerging markets. Penny is also Chairman of EnQuest Plc., an integratedenergy company, which responsibly manages and decommissions mature oil and gasassets, whilst creating new energy transition opportunities. He has worked in various forms of industry over the past four decades. Penny was the CEO of De Beers. During his tenure, he was instrumental in reshaping not only the world’s leading diamond company, but also the diamond industry.
