Eduardo González is a leading global expert in transitional justice. A sociologist by formation, he has supported over twenty truth commission processes in countries around the world, as well as reparation and memorialization efforts. He has had a long experience as an advocate starting with his role in the NGO Coalition for the International Criminal Court, and as a mentor and instructor in innumerable seminars and courses in universities in New York and Lima. He has researched and published extensively on different aspects of transitional justice, including on its interactions with indigenous peoples' rights, racial justice and LGBT rights.
