Panel: The Peace Bargain

While often addressed in isolation, the negotiation and implementation phases of peace processes are intricately linked, particularly through their financing. It is crucial to consider funding from the outset of these processes to support optimal outcomes. ISDC and swisspeace have studied the relationship between the negotiation and implementation phases of peace agreements and how these relationships shape and are shaped by the funding landscape. Using an interactive panel approach, participants of the session will get the opportunity to engage with the outcomes of this work, the resulting policy recommendations, and practical insights from practice and donor perspectives.
